The Lon Las Cefni is a 21 km long traffic-free cycle route which runs from Newborough to Llyn Cefni. For the final section between the Dingle in Llangefni and Llyn Cefni, the newly constructed path runs close to the mothballed railway track which runs from Gaerwen to Amlwch (although to the best of my knowledge, no train has run on this line for over 25 years). At one point the path is constructed on a boardwalk cantilevered precariously over the Afon Cefni for a distance of approximately 100 metres.
